A second later Geoffrey brings down the machete, severing the ropes that bind you to the chair. When you open your eyes you are surprised to find that you are still alive and in one piece. Instantly you regret the promise you made in your prayer that if you came out of this alive you would try to be nice to Donald. The face hovering in front of you breaks into a goofy grin. 'I'm your biggest fan!' says Geoffrey. He pushes something into your still shaking hands. You look down to see that it is a book, an old brown hardcover 1978 diary with a lot of pages torn out. It seems to be a handwritten account of your adventures, though the handwriting is unfamiliar. 'Can I have your autograph?' gushes Geoffrey, handing you a pen. Without taking your eyes off the gentle giant, you inscribe the book 'to my dear friend Geoffrey' and hand it back to him. 'I've decided to join you on your adventure!' says Geoffrey enthusiastically. 'With my brawn and your brains and Donald's…' he struggles for a moment, then rallies 'and Donald, we'll be out of the Crazy Place in no time!'
